Meet Dr. Curtis Nelson
Carrying On a Family Legacy
Dr. Nelson’s background with chiropractic started with his mother, who was one of a dozen female chiropractors who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1947. Dr. Jeannette Nelson practiced for more than 35 years and created a legacy in her family. Dr. Nelson’s aunt, uncle, cousin and niece are also chiropractors, making it a true family tradition.
His mother’s interest in the profession was sparked when she took her first child, Dr. Nelson’s older brother, to the chiropractor. Her baby boy had untreatable seizures, and the medical doctors said he would die. Instead, Dr. Nelson’s mom took her son to the chiropractor, who helped get rid of the seizures. That supposedly terminal baby lived another 70 years!
I want to help people without the drugs and surgery that are so prevalent all over the world.”
